Edwin D. "Ed" Downard, 80, died July 11, 2011.
He was a laborer at Cargill Salt in Hutchinson.
He married Loretta B. Brown on June 20, 1957, in Raton, N.M. She died March 22, 2010.
Survivors include: son, Michael R. Downard, Hutchinson; daughter, Kathy Johnson, Hutchinson; brother, Floyd Downard, Hutchinson; and a grandson.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside service and burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2011, at Buhler East Annex Cemetery, east of Buhler. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
