Edwin L. Miller, 94, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Mennonite Friendship Comm-unities, South Hutchinson. He was born Aug. 25, 1921, the son of Levi D. and Clara (Nisly) Miller.
He was a lifetime dairy farmer and also sold Smith-Roles products. On April 25, 1946, he married Nellie Irene Miller at Middlebury, Ind. She died Sept. 27, 2009. He is survived by: their children and spouses, Marlin (Trudy) of Hutchinson, Valetta Yoder (Vernon) of Plain City, Ohio, Omar (Elsie) of Harrison, Ark., Orville (Mary Jane) of Hutchinson, Leanna Chrystie (Rod) of Hutchinson, Howard (Diana) of Wichita; siblings, Willis (Susie) of Hutchinson, Elizabeth Wagler of Partridge, Perry (Judy) of Hutchinson, David L. of Partridge, Mary Beachy (Joseph) of Kalona, Iowa, Mahlon (Fannie) of Hutchinson, Paul (Martha) of Partridge, Fred of South Hutchinson, Emma Troyer (Oliver) of Partridge; sisters-in-law, Orpha Miller of Arlington and Anne Miller of Harrisonburg, Va.; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant children, Loretta, Raymond and Wilbur; four infant grandchildren; an infant great-granddaughter; and brothers, Daniel and Harry.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at Center AM Church, 7611 West Morgan, with David Yoder presiding. Burial will be in West Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
