Eleanor M. Baird, 93, of Hutchinson, died October 7, 2019, at Thorne Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born April 2, 1926, to Russell and Louise (Henery) Baird, in Hutchinson.

Eleanor graduated from Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College. She was retired from Prudential Insurance Company, where she worked for many years as a secretary.

Eleanor was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church, in Hutchinson. She belonged to the United Methodist Women, Duo Sunday School, and was a long-time member of the Lion's Club.

Eleanor is survived by: three nieces; four nephews; two cousins; and dear friend, Pearl Tedford of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Margaret; and brother, Richard.

Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, with The Rev. Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Private burial will follow. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
