Elinor M. Krampe, 99, died Sept. 29, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center.

She was born July 20, 1908, in Silica, the daughter of Bernard and Dina Deuser Krampe. She graduated from Ellinwood High School. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she had been a housekeeper for Father Leroy Metz, Waterloo, and a nurses' aide at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

She attended the Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson, belonged to the Altar Society at the church, the Hutchinson Hospital Auxiliary and the Hutchinson Public Library.

Survivors include: numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ben, Bill, Norbert and Frank Krampe; and seven sisters, Josephine McKee, Kathryn McGlynn, Helen Koch, Frances Huslig, Elizabeth, Clara, Sophia Krampe and an infant sister.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood, with Father Charles Mazouch presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

Memorials may be sent to the Church of the Holy Cross or The Good Samaritan Fund at the Good Samaritan Center, both in care of the funeral home.
