Obituary

Elizabeth "Dolly" Warner, 81, was born in Philadelphia, Penn. She met Lloyd Warner while he was stationed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. They were married 61 years and moved to Hutchinson in 1949.

She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church for over 60 years. She belonged to the church's Altar Society, volunteered at the annual Thanksgiving Turkey dinner and she could often be seen at the State Fair in the church's booth. Dolly taught religious classes, Special Education Students and could be found cleaning the church and selling religious articles in the back of the church after mass. Dolly collected funds for the American Heart Association for numerous years.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd; three children, Stephen Warner and wife Becky, Susan Loper and husband Robert and Yvonne Warner, as well as seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.

The family requests donations be made in Dolly's memory to St. Teresa's Church fund for the poor or to Hospice of Reno County in care of the mortuary.
