Elizabeth 'Liz' Jane Nunley (Chronister), 69, formerly of Hutchinson, died October 12, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born November 10, 1948, in Hayti, Missouri, to Laura Mae Miller and William 'Dot' Chronister.

Liz attended Hutchinson High School. She retired from nursing in 2002, in Hutchinson. Liz loved spending time with her children, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

On March 12, 1979, she married Tony M. Nunley in Hutchinson. Liz is survived by: children, Shontina Tipton (Vince), Angela Tipton-Breckenridge (James), Milissa Tipton-Dunkins (Bruce), all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Edward Lemar Tipton (Leslie) of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; stepmother, Ruby Chronister; and siblings, all of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Tony; son, Sadela LaDon Johnson; and the children's father, Edward 'Eddie' Tipton.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at New Resurrection Church, 500 W. Avenue A, Hutchinson, with the Reverend C.R. Crumble Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
