Christine Linscheid, 82, died Oct. 24, 2012, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born Sept. 10, 1930, in Osborne, Kansas, the daughter of Leo Eugene and Roberta Gertrude Perry Ganoung.
She was a 1948 graduate of Alton (Kansas) High School.
Christine married Porter McReynolds. His death occurred on Nov. 29, 1956. She then married John F. Linscheid in December of 1958. He died April 13, 1988.
Christine was a retired employee of the Carey Salt Company, a member of the Methodist Church, and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include: sons, Bruce Linscheid of Lyons, Joe McReynolds of Hutchinson, Bill McReynolds and wife Kristen of Udall, KS., Pastor Mark McReynolds and wife Margarette of Beloit, KS; daughters, Marie Keyser of Hutchinson, Beverly Williams and husband Jimmy of Diana, Texas, Kathy Sue Hayes and husband Tim of Dodge City; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William Ganoung, sister, Leona Mitchell, son-in-law, Steve Keyser, and a great-granddaughter, Lacey Ann Keyser.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday Nov. 2, 2012, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Mark McReynolds and Richard Foster officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
