Elizabeth C. Ojeda's Obituary
Elizabeth C. Ojeda, 89, died Oct. 12, 2006 at Hospice Houses.
She was born May 19, 1917, in Wellington, the daughter of Jose and Alejandria Flores Caudillo. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a retired independent house cleaner.
She belonged to Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.
On Oct. 10, 1937, she married John Francis Ojeda in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, George and Joseph A. "Tony"
both of Hutchinson and Rick, Wichita; a daughter Rose Mary Ojeda, Hutchinson; a sister Georgia Cantu, Hutchinson; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Johnny Ojeda, Jr.; and two brothers, Sebastian Caudillo, Sr. and Narciso Caudillo.
Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with Father Ned J. Blick and Father Stuart M. Smeltzer presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
