SOUTH HUTCHINSON - Elizabeth Susie Nisly, 87, died July 9, 2008, at Mennonite Manor.

She was born April 19, 1921, at Garnett, daughter of Perry E. and Sadie Beachy Yoder.

She was a homemaker, and belonged to Maranatha Mennonite Church.

On Oct. 3, 1940, she married Henry Nisly in Hutchinson, he survives.

Other survivors include: children, Dorothy Miller and husband, Al, Paul Nisly and wife, Frieda, Marilyn Heavener and husband, Dave, all of Hutchinson; sister, Anna Headings, South Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: two sons, Glenn Wayne and David; grandchild, Vickie; brothers, Ed, Sol, and Jonas Yoder; and sister, Minnie Garver.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, 3315 Blanchard SW, Hutchinson, with Pastor Paul Nisly, Maranatha Mennonite, and Al Miller, Prairie Chapel, presiding. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Maranatha Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Memorials to: Mennonite Manor or Maranatha Mennonite Church.
