Ellen Marie Pieplow's Obituary
Ellen Marie Pieplow, 63, died Dec. 2, 2008, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. 7, 1945, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn Follick Hedger.
She graduated in 1963, from Hutchinson High School. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was a physical therapy assistant, starting at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, and ending with wound care in the hyperbaric center at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She had 39 years of service.
She belonged to Berean Baptist Church.
On Oct. 18, 1970, she married Frederick H. Pieplow in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: her twin children, Wendy Barrett and husband Dan, Hutchinson, and Jeffery and wife Amy, Lyons; two brothers, Charles Hedger, California, and Rick Hedger, South Hutchinson; two sisters, Sharon Richardson, and Janice Hiebert, both of Hutchinson; and three grandsons, Connor Barrett, and Jacob and Cooper Pieplow.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday Dec. 5, 2008, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Roger Neir presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at the mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
