Obituary

Elva Winifred Wiles, 87, passed away August 27, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV after an extended illness. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Seward, KS to Charles Emil and Julia Connor Dralle. She graduated high school in 1942 from Radium High School and attended Fort Hays State for one year. She married Chester Wiles on October 19, 1946. He died August 9, 2005. Elva worked in retail banking at First National Bank and Bank South in Hutchinson, KS and retired in 1984. Her hobbies included sewing, genealogy, woodworking and playing bridge.

Survivors include; son, Wood Wiles, Cumming, GA; daughter, Hyla Winters, Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Fern Carr, Pauline Omlar and Virginia Smith.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson with Pastor Jim Rheasa presiding. Burial will follow at Larned Cemetery, Larned, KS at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bethann Black. Memorial contributions may be made to Chester J. and Elva W.
