Emma Janel Lane, 40, died Oct. 18, 2010.
She was born April 5, 1970, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Amos Swepston, Sr. and Mary Ann Schwein Sweptson.
She was a 1988 graduate of Nickerson High School, 1996 graduate of Hutchinson Community College and was a homemaker.
Survivors include: a daughter, Lindsey Marie Lane, Hutchinson; mother, Mary Ann Schwein Sweptson, South Hutchinson; father, Amos Swepston Sr., Hutchinson; companion, Randy Scott, Hutchinson; brother, Amos Swepston Jr., Hutchinson; sister, Cathy Ulrey, Wichita; stepbrother, Charlie Swepston, Hutchinson; stepsister, Amber Swepston, Castleton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Cremation is planned. Her service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Robert L. Albin officiating. Her register book will be available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorial gifts may be made to Emma Janel Lane memorial fund or Ronald McDonald House in care of the mortuary.
