Obituary

Emma Mae Miller, 50, of Partridge, died peacefully August 21, 2020, at her home. She was born May 7, 1970, in Garnett, to Wilmer and Fern (Yoder) Miller.

Emma worked in the cafeteria at Hutchinson Hospital from 1991 to 2012, and at Carolyn's Essenhaus, in Arlington from 2012 to 2016.  She loved people and never knew a stranger. Emma loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews, and to listen to music while in her rocking chair.

Emma is survived by: her parents, Wilmer and Fern Miller, Partridge; brothers, Joe (Lolita) Miller, Partridge, and Ray (Gina) Miller, Hutchinson; sister, Glenda (Ryan) Yoder, Hutchinson; nieces and nephews, Tasha and Jevon Miller, Quinton and Braxton Miller, Caleb, Jordan, and Izzie Yoder; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and a brother-in-law, Randy Geiser.

Friends may call from 12 to 3 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary. The family will be present from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

A private family graveside service will take place at Plainview Mennonite Church Cemetery, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be given to Cancer Council of Reno County or Kindred Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501
