Obituary

Emma Jean Trent, 80, died April 1, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital, ICU.

She was born May 3, 1925, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Rufus Milton and Frances Dov-ie Tucker Lindsey. She attended Ce-ntral High School. A lifetime Hu-tchinson resident, she was a homemaker, retired from Hutchinson Bag Company as a surge operator, and during World War II, was a "Rosie the riveter" working on airplanes.

Survivors include: two sons, Marc W., Hutchinson, and Danny C., Lawrence; two daughters, Saundra J. Trent, Hutchinson, and Jackie L. Elk, Edmond, Okla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Lindsey; a sister, Fern Fox; and a great-grandson.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
