EmyLu Jane Gantz, 81, died Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born July 14, 1937, in Hutchinson, to Russell 'Russ' and Reba (Lakin) Templeton.

EmyLu attended Buhler Schools and graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 1979. She was of the Methodist faith and affiliated with Buhler Mennonite Church. She owned Lik' m Lollipops.

On Febuary 15, 1959, she married Richard Wayne Gantz at First Baptist Church in Hutchinson. He died September 22, 2014.

She is survived by: daughter, Tori Regier and husband Jason of Buhler; grandson, Bryan Regier of Buhler; brother, Sky Templeton of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Buhler Mennonite Church, 220 W. Ave B, Buhler.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buhler Mennonite Church (for outreach meals) or Emmanuel Lutheran Church (for the Thanksgiving community meal), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
