Eric Ryan Gelineau, 32, died June 21, 2019, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.  He was born September 4, 1986, in Haverhill, MA, to Paul Gerard and Carol Dee (Thille) Gelineau.

Eric graduated from Buhler High School in 2006.  Despite all the challenges that life had for Eric, he touched everyone he met with his contagious smile. He had a huge heart and was extremely funny.  Eric loved word searches, his rubberband ball, and anything to do with Coca-Cola.  He was a special young man, and an inspiration to everyone he came in contact with during his life.

Eric is survived by:  parents, Paul and Carol of Hutchinson; sister, Aron of Casselberry, FL; maternal grandpa, Roland Krause; paternal grandpa, Hervey A. Gelineau; and paternal grandma, Patricia Hurley.

He was preceded in death by:  grandparents, JoAnn Krause, Murray Thille; uncles, Harold Metthe, Timothy Newburn; aunt, Tana Krause; and cousin, Melissa Myers.

A Celebration of Life for Eric will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating.  Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.  Memorials may be made to the Eric Gelineau Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501. The family requests those attending wear funny shirts or brightly colored clothing.
