Eric Wade Harbaček, 57, of Hutchinson died December 26, 2024, at his home. He was born March 25, 1967, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Max and Bonnie (Purvis) Harbaček.
Eric graduated from Hutchinson High School where he wrestled and played football. He received his barber license from the Kansas Board of Barbering and was passionate about his craft as a Barber. Eric owned his own barber shop for many years in Hutchinson where he was a friend to many in the community. Eric was an avid fisherman his whole life. He also enjoyed sports, hunting, and collecting coins. Eric was an enthusiastic music lover and lived a storied life. He was known and loved for his charismatic personality, his sense of humor, and his boisterous voice and laughter. Eric's joyful spirit will be forever missed.
He is survived by: his fiancé, Ginger Robbins of the home; children, Erin Lawrence (Nicholas) of Aldrich, MO, Max Greyson Harbaček (and his mother Deanna Davis) of Wichita; sister, Katrina Drummond of Hutchinson; nieces, Julie Zolman and Jennifer Zolman of Hutchinson, Joni Heiderscheit (Jerry) of Uganda, Africa; Ginger's children, Garret Boeger (Hannah), Dalton Boeger, Dylan Boeger, Bristal Robbins; many great-nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Eric was preceded in death by: his father, Max C. Harbaček; mother, Bonnie Macklin; and brother, Max Brian Harbaček.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at The Clayworks at Disability Supports, 1125 N. Main, Hutchinson.
Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eric Harbaček Memorial Fund (payable to Elliott Mortuary), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
