Obituary

Erma A. Fahrenholtz, 97, died Monday, June 4, 2018, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. She was born January 13, 1921, in rural Sterling, the daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Bertha May (Miller) Easter.

Erma was a farm wife, mother and loved to play her guitar and sing.

On September 30, 1945, she married Herbert Henry Fahrenholtz in the Nazarene parsonage, rural Sylvia. He died December 2, 2012.
She is survived by: children, Dr. H. Daniel Fahrenholtz and wife Diana of Granby, Colorado, Victoria A. Wise and husband Dean of Clearwater; daughter"in-law, Janice Fahrenholtz of Tribune; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren, with two on the way.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Dr. Randall K. Fahrenholtz; and nine siblings.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Her casket will remain closed. Erma's book will available to sign from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary .
