WICHITA - Ernst "Bill" William Brauer, 65, died Feb. 17, 2013, at Via Christi-St. Francis, Wichita. He was born Oct. 18, 1947, to Ernest William Henry and Reba Mills Brauer in Ensign, Kan.

He was a 1965 graduate of Hutchinson High School and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Burrton, Kan. He belonged to the Masons and was a member of Chapter 795 Teamsters. He retired from Dillons in 2006.

On June 28, 1968, he married Debbie Sue Collins in Burrton, Kan. She survives.

Other survivors include: daughters, Amy Nolte and husband Sean of Wichita, Jodi Waggoner and husband John of Keller, Texas; grandsons, Collin Nolte of Stillwater, Okla., Cade Nolte of El Dorado, Tanner and Jack Waggoner of Keller, Texas; brother, George Brauer of South Hutchinson; sister, Betty Roenfeldt of Alabama; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Brauer; and sister-in-law, Meri Brauer.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 11303 E. Longview Road, Burrton, Kan., with Pastor Mike Graber presiding. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
