Ethel Estalene Ferguson, 87, of Hutchinson, died April 6, 2023, at Legend Senior Living. She was born March 16, 1936, in Burr Oak, to Alfred Edgar and Verda May (Dillon) Glover.

Estalene graduated from Haviland Friends Academy in 1953 and Friends Bible College, Haviland, in 1955. She enjoyed cooking, playing games, puzzles, journaling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Estalene was active in the Haviland community for many years before moving to Hutchinson in 2001. She was a member of the Friends Church.

On November 23, 1956, Estalene married Floyd P. Ferguson, in North Branch. They shared nearly 64 years of marriage before his death on November 3, 2020.

She is survived by: her children, Sheri Elliott (Raymond) of Haviland, Debbie Davis (Craig) of Orange, CA, Bryan Ferguson (Tina) of Oregon City, OR; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Wilda Baker; and a brother, LaVae Glover.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Haviland Community Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Friends Church Youth Building in Haviland.

Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
