Estella E. Lewis, 108, died January 10, 2013, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born October 21, 1904, in rural Sterling, to Joseph and Fannie Ehresman Schrock. She attended Union 5 School, Hutchinson High School and Bresee Business College.

Estella was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. While working at KP&L, she met Phillip E. Lewis. They were later married on November 6, 1937, in Hutchinson. He died July 12, 1986.

She is survived by: niece, Evelyn Martin; nephew, Bill Lewis and wife Chris; great-nephews, Roger Ball and wife Mary, Douglas Ball, O.D. and wife Becky, Richard Martin and wife Nancy, and Richard Ehresman and wife Linda; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.

Estella was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, brother, Frank E. Schrock, sisters, Mary Schrock Ball, Elsie Schrock Pickens, niece, Fern Schrock, nephews, F. Ed Ball, Kenneth Ball, and great-nephew, Larry Martin.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the First Church of the Nazarene, with the Reverends Doug Wyatt and Bones Nay officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, in care of the mortuary.
