Etta Marie Miller, 90, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born Aug. 29, 1924, in Wichita, the daughter of Joseph Merle and Emerette (Schamp) Yates.

She was a 1943 graduate of Hutchinson High School, a retired clerk for the former T & E Oil Co. and a member of South Hutchinson Christian Church.

She married Edgar R. Miller II in 1944, and divorced in 1954. She married Lloyd M. LaCoe in 1958. He preceded her in death. Survivors include: her children, Ranald G. (Ursula) Miller of Hutchinson, Jamie S. Miller of Lincoln, Ark., Edgar R. (Connie) Miller III of South Hutchinson, Melvin L. (Carol) LaCoe of Sterling; brother, William Yates of Wichita; sisters, Ilean White of Hutchinson, Irene Brawner of South Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nancy R. Pearce; great-grandson, Christopher J. Sullivan; three brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Lanny Maddox presiding. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
