Eunice Elaine Arndt, 87, died June 10, 2024, at her home.  She was born October 24, 1936, in Onawa, IA, to Edward Arndt and Francis (Blakley) Arndt.

Eunice was a 1954 graduate of Owana High School, Owana, IA.  She attended the University of South Dakota where she met her future husband, Lloyd Will Ballhagen.  Together they raised two sons, Clint and Kurt. Eunice went back to school and earned a Masters Degree in Gerontology from Wichita State University.  She taught piano lessons for 62 years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, KS.

Eunice is survived by:  her sons, Clint William Ballhagen of Hutchinson, KS, and Kurt Laine Ballhagen of Lawrence, KS; grandson, Brandon Lee Ballhagen; and granddog, Zeus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and ex-husband, Lloyd Will Ballhagen.

Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and Thursday, June 13, 2024, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
