Eva Ruth Judd, 78, of South Hutchinson, died November 28, 2023, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born November 8, 1945, in Taos, NM, to Clarence Edward and Betsy Annis (Dean) Judd.

Eva attended school in Taos and became a registered nurse.  She worked for several nursing homes for many years.

Eva enjoyed singing and attending church, she was a very religious person. She was a devoted member of Victorious Life Church, Hutchinson.

In 1963, she married Richard Smith, in San Bernardino, CA. They later divorced.

Eva is survived by: her sons, Mark Smith of Hutchinson, KS, David (Becky) Smith of Bellevue, NE; ex-husband, Richard Smith of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Zach Smith and Emily Smith both of Bellevue, NE; sisters, Ruby Hall and Edna Pitcher both of Heavener, OK; and step- grandson, Dillon Jarolimek of South Hutchinson, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 7 brothers.

Cremation has taken place. No services have been planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Gentiva Hospice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
