Eva Cora Milburn, 98, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, in Denver, Colorado.

She was born Oct. 7, 1911, in Abbyville to Chester and Rosa Wingo Feese.

A longtime Abbyville community resident moving to Denver in 1999, she was a homemaker.

On November 24, 1926, she married George Harold Milburn in Partridge. He died March 1, 1980.

She is survived by: two sons and their spouses, Harold J. and Verna Milburn, and Merle Milburn Sr., all of Hutchinson; a daughter, Marilyn Joan Jensen, Denver, Colorado; a brother, Bill Clifford and Thelma Feese, Denver; two sisters, Geneva Sitton, and Grace Cook, both of Hutchinson; a brother-in-law, Clyde Kidd, Haven; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Edwin Milburn, three brothers, Harold, Earl and Wayne Feese, and three sisters, Mabel Crossland, Wanda Kidd and Genevieve Sickmon.

Private graveside service will be in Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday December 4, 2009, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Keith A. Dellenbach and the Rev. R. Samuel Askew presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of the mortuary.
