Evelyn Hungerford's Obituary
Evelyn Hungerford, 93, died Feb. 16, 2013, at Elm Grove Estates. She was born June 21, 1919, in Hutchinson, to William and Olive (Ansel) Errett.
Evelyn attended Hutchinson High School and Salt City Business College in Hutchinson. She worked for Wolf Mills in Ellinwood and Bell Telephone (Engineer Division) in Hutchinson.
She married Clinton Hungerford on March 2, 1951, in Hutchinson. He died July 16, 1984. Survivors include: nephew, William Lewis; great-niece, Pamela Peitsch and her family; great-nephews, Gregory Lewis, Rod, Craig, Bill and Matt Humphreys and their families; stepchildren, Kathy Edwards and Steve Hungerford. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Irene Lewis; two brothers, Ernest Errett and Henry William Errett; and niece, Beth Humphreys.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be made to Salvation Army, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
