Evelyn V. Partridge's Obituary
Evelyn V. Partridge, 85, died Jan. 21, 2009, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.
She was born March 12, 1923, in Grinnell, the daughter of John P. and Frances Depperschmidt Wagoner.
She was a resident of Hutchinson. She graduated from Sheridan County High School in 1940. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of The Holy Cross, Holy Cross Altar Society, and Salt Shakers Camping Club.
On April 25, 1942, she married Billie Lee "Bill" Partridge in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: sons, William and wife, Anita, Fort Scott, Daniel and wife, Rhonda, Lawrence, and Ronald, Hutchinson; daughters, Gwen Weidman and husband, John, Hutchinson, and Donnis Viegra, Washington N.C.; sisters, Marcella Frances Wennihan, Topeka, and Dolores Troyer, South Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert Oliver Wagoner, and John Howard Wagoner, one sister, Lucella Agnes Wagoner; and one grandson, John Weidman, 1965.
Parish Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Father Joseph Eckberg officiating. Friends may call 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the mortuary.
