Evelyn Faye Dick "Sally," 82, died Oct. 4, 2008, at Promise Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Halstead, the daughter of Jesse David and Muriel Thornhill Lewis. She received an associate's degree. A lifetime resident of Halstead and Hutchinson, she was a registered nurse.

She belonged to Bethany Church of the Nazarene and the Citizen Band of the Potawatomie Indian Tribe.

Survivors include: sons, Garold, Phoenix, Richard, Hutchinson, and Robert, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; daughters, Karen Linn and Carol Linn, both of Hutchinson, and Ellen Boggs, Turon; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, a son, Kenneth Dale Dick, a brother, Clifford Marion Lewis, a sister, Doris Jeanne Abbott and a grandson, Cameron Linn.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at Bethany Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Darrell Bisel presiding. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Halstead Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
