Evelyn V. Wilson's Obituary
Evelyn V. Wilson, 91, died July 1, 2006, at Golden Plains, Hutchinson.
She was born March 3, 1915, in Columbia Township, Minn., the daughter of Leonard W. and Aila G. Olson Lindgren. A Hutchinson resident since 1940, she was a retired Postal Sub Station Clerk at Fraese Drug.
She belonged to Salt City Postal Auxiliary No. 352 for more than 40 years.
On Sept. 20, 1940, she married Orval T. Wilson in Deer River, Minn. He died Dec. 15, 1988.
Survivors include: a son, Harlin, Halstead; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fairlawn Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the mortuary, Hutchinson.
