Evelyn A. Woerz, 89, died April 2, 2022, at Diversicare of Hutchinson. She was born April 4, 1932, in Great Bend, to Charles and Mary (Bieberle) Beck.

Evelyn married William W. Woerz on October 12, 1954, in Claflin. They moved to Hutchinson in 1959. Evelyn was a homemaker. William died on June 26, 1987, followed by her son, Thomas, on February 1, 2011. Evelyn was a member of Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson.

She is survived by: sons, David Woerz, Alan Woerz (Caryl), both of Hutchinson, Mark Woerz (Chris Beyer), St. Louis; granddaughters, Amanda Beals (Scott), Lisa Woerz, Cynthia Woerz; great-granddaughters, Taylor and Brooklyn Beals, all of Hutchinson; brothers, Robert Beck, Claflin, and John Beck, Newton.

Evelyn was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, William; son, Thomas; and brothers, Jerome and Lawrence.

Parish rosary will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., all at Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
