Fay E. Green's Obituary
Fay E. Green, 90, died Jan. 17, 2013, at Hospice House. He was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Sylvia to Roy Camden and Ida Emily (Roseberry) Green.
Fay served in the United States Army from 1943-1945.
He married Marjory Louise Davis on Jan. 21, 1954, in Hutchinson. She died June 21, 2007.
Fay was a member of the Teamsters Union and the Kansas Bowling Association.
Survivors include: son, Kenneth D. Green and wife Cathy of Maize; two daughters, Debra Pennick and husband Richard of Lenexa and Tonya Penny of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Green, and sister, Carrol Jones.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Butch Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
