Fern Olive Roth, 91, died January 13, 2010 at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson. She was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Goff, KS to Horatio Alfred and Mary Margaret Hinkle Myers. She was a resident of Arlington for most of her life, until she moved to Hutchinson in 1995. She was a homemaker.

On Dec. 24, 1947, she married Emmanuel Roth in Harrisonville, KS. He died March 25, 1978.

Survivors include, daughter, Mary K. Barkley and husband Craig, Huthcinson; half-brother, Leon Myers, Marysville, KS; half-sister, Doris Setterquist, Manhattan, KS; granddaughter, Megan Moran and husband Nick, Honolulu, HI; grandson, Joshua Barkley and wife Sarah, South Hutchinson; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Fri. Jan. 22, 2010 at Arlington Cemetery with Rev. Sara Davis Blodgett officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9-9 Tues. – Thurs. at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dillon Living Center, Hospice of Reno County, or Smile Train in care of the mortuary.
