Obituary

Frances "Hazaell" (pronounced Hay-zale) Heironimus, 88, was born on Oct. 21, 1922, to Elmer and Alma James Douglas, in Hutchinson, Kansas. The family lived in Nickerson and later moved to Pocahontas, Arkansas, and then back to Hutchinson, where she graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1942.
After high school she married Robert "Bob" Dale Heironimus on May 27, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, in 1976; and sisters, Rhoda Douglas and Versa Reusser; and brothers, Dale, Virgil, Wilbur, William, Chester and John Douglas; and her parents. She is survived by a son, Ronald Heironimus, Lyons, KS; three daughters, Pat Graves, Corona, Calif., and Frances Heironimus, Topeka, KS, and Nadine Heironimus Zwiefack, Enid, Okla.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of First Church of God.

Funeral service will be 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Jim Carney presiding. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice House in care of Elliott Mortuary.
