Frances A. Housley, 97, died August 16, 2022, at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. She was born November 21, 1924, in Tucson, Arizona, to Victor Devine and Venus (Gerlach) Arana.

Frances graduated from Tucson High School in 1942. She worked as a bookkeeper in many industries over the years.

On August 11, 1969, Frances married Edward Noble Housley. He passed away on March 31, 2006.

She is survived by: children, Barbara Collins, Yukon, Oklahoma, Gary Lanning (Tammy), Hutchinson, Debra Smith (Gary), Conway, Kansas; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and brother, Dr. Thomas Arana, Massachusetts.

Frances was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Edward Housley; grandson, Brenn Collins; four sisters; and three brothers.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

The family wishes to recognize and thank granddaughter, Shellee, for her special care of Frances in the last years of her life.
