Frances L. "Fran" Montgomery Clark, 81, died June 14, 2011, at her home.

She was born Oct. 29, 1929, in Garden City, to David E. and Kathryn O. Ewy Friesen.

She was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson. In 1947, she married Myrle Montgomery in Hutchinson. He died Aug. 27, 1967. She later married W. Dale Clark on Oct. 11, 1968, in Hutchinson. He died July 2, 2005.

She was a devoted homemaker.

Survivors include: sons, Thomas Montgomery and wife Donna of Wichita and Kim Allan Montgomery of Hutchinson; stepdaughter, Linda Mattern and husband George of Augusta; sister, Wanda Wiens and husband Dick of Hutchinson; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one spoiled rotten schnauzer. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, LeRoy Friesen, and sisters, Glenys Friesen and Sandra Fink.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Chaplain Bob Phipps presiding. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
