Frances Repass, 89, died June 15, 2016, at Brookdale of Hutchinson. She was born Dec. 22, 1926, in Green Ridge, Mo., to John and Allie Hampton.

She graduated from high school in Miami, Oklahoma and attended Salt City Business College. Frances owned Palace Lanes, which was an eight-lane bowling center in Hutchinson and 20th Century Bowl in Dodge City. She was a member of the Hutchinson Women's Bowling Hall of Fame.

In 1943, she married Bill Repass. He died May 16, 1994. Survivors include: son, Rex Repass, Wichita; daughter, Kay Bontrager (Gary), Hutchinson; granddaughters, Joni Bontrager (Brian Devers), Olathe, and Jill Wasinger (Travis), South Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; and son, Billy Greg Repass.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
