Francis Warren Vancampen's Obituary
Francis Warren VanCampen, 84, died March 25, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Dec. 7, 1924, in Haven, to Frank E. and Ida M. Wilson VanCampen. Francis retired from Republic Paperboard after 34 years of service.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946.
On July 19, 1948, he married Eleanor M. Lanzl in Hutchinson. Survivors include: wife, Eleanor VanCampen, Hutchinson; two sons, Jerry D., Hutchinson and Jimmy D., Holcomb; sister, Letha J. Johanning, Hutchinson; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Clevenger and a grandson.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Pastor Alan D. Stambaugh officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
