Obituary

Born in Ambridge, Pa., Frank "Bullets" Hulet left the physical world, his beloved family and many friends on Oct. 12, 2011. A WWII veteran of the United States Navy, he served our country flying PBM Mariners in the Pacific Theater. He knew Hutchinson, Kan. would be his home when he met his future wife during pilot training.
He married Virginia Hartmann on May 25, 1945, and now joins her in heaven after 60 years of marriage. Much of his life was spent running the Hartmann Manufacturing Company building precision machine castings, as well as the Jayhawk Manufacturing Company building large volume food processing mills. Never one to turn down a game of golf, he enjoyed good food, good wine and good company throughout his life. Frank was a strong supporter of the community, personally investing both time and money in many projects to support the disabled.

He is survived by his daughter, Ginger Zyskowski and son, Kyle F. Hulet of Hutchinson, Kan.; grandsons, Mike Zyskowski and wife, Gina Jamison, Andrew Zyskowski and wife Serena, Jamie Zyskowski and wife Johanna; great-grandchildren, Whitney, Sarah and Katie Mueller, Mickey Zyskowski, Jack Zyskowski, Lily, Scarlet, Thomas and Juniper Zyskowski, all residing in Washington state.
