Frankie L. Meador's Obituary
Frankie L. Meador, 101, died Feb. 11, 2007, at Riverside Village Retirement Center, Wichita.
She was born April 19, 1905, in Nickerson, the daughter of James Frank and Carrie Mae Jones Whitt. She graduated from Nickerson High School in 1925. A resident of Wichita since 2005, haveing been a longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker.
On Feb. 17, 1932 she married James Joel Meador in Nickerson. He died July 21, 1993.
Survivors include several nephews and nieces.
She was precede din death by two brothers, Jack and Lloyd Whitt; and two sisters, Reba Mae Miles and Otha Stroup.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Rev. Preston Price presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:30 to noon Thursday, with the family present Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
