Fred H. McKinney, 86, died June 20, 2013, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Rose Hill, to Fred Jesse and Frances (Hadley) McKinney.

He was a driver for Rainbo Bakery. On Oct. 7, 1949, he married Drula Ferguson in Haviland. She survives. Other survivors include: son, Dwain McKinney and wife Shirley of Woodburn, Ind.; two brothers, Francis McKinney and wife Bulah of Wichita, and Howard McKinney of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. Fred was preceded in death by two daughters, Dianne Ross and Carolyn Jaster; three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Friends Church, with Pastor Gary Getting officiating. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Haviland Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
