Fred L. Miller, 85, of South Hutchinson, died October 7, 2020, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. He was born July 27, 1935, in Hutchinson, to Levi and Clara (Nisly) Miller.

Fred worked for Cessna and Doskocil. He attended Journey at South Hutchinson. Fred was known in the community for his taxi service, where he met and got to know many people.

He is survived by: son, Dalton Miller, Manhattan, KS; brothers Willis Miller, Hutchinson, and Paul Miller (Martha), Partridge; sisters, Mary Beachy (Joe), Kalona, Iowa, and Emma Troyer (Oliver), Partridge; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Fred was preceded in death by: his parents; siblings, Edwin Miller, Elizabeth Wagler, Harry Miller, Perry Miller, David Miller, Mahlon Miller, and Daniel Miller.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2020, at Journey at Yoder, on the corner of Yoder Road and Longview Road, with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Yoder Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Journey at Yoder.
