Obituary

INMAN - Freida May Stauffer, 72, died Nov. 27, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 10, 1940, to Fred J. and Genevieve Irene Folck Strouse in Little River, Kan.

She graduated in 1958 from Inman High School. Freida belonged to the Kanza Promenade Square Dance Club and worked 54 years at Hubco sewing bags.

Freida married J. Charles Stauffer on April 4, 1964, in Hutchinson, Kan. He survives.

Other survivors include: sisters, Nancy Peters of Hutchinson, Kan. and Sharon Lafferty of Inman, Kan.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and sisters, Sue White and Rosey Walker.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Mitchell United Methodist Chapel with Pastors Teresa Wynn and Wayne Flanders presiding. Burial will follow in Bean Cemetery, Little River, Kan. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
