Frieda N. Toews, 96, died January 5, 2012, at Hester Care Center in Hutchinson, Ks. She was born March 9, 1915, to C.L. and Sarah Neufeld Wall in rural Harvey County. She attended school in Moundridge, Ks. She was a member of South Hutchinson Methodist Church in South Hutchinson, KS, Lerdao E.H.U. Club, and Buhler Ramblers Camping Club. In 1938, she married Frank H. Toews in Harvey County. He died in February 1998. She farmed with her husband and was a homemaker.

Survivors include: a son, Wayne Toews and wife Janet, Penalosa, KS; and a sister, Helen Ediger, Buhler, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, and two brothers, Walter and Curt Wall.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, in Hebron Cemetery, rural Buhler, KS, with the Rev. Tim Ault-Duell presiding.
