Gailen Lee Furman, 73, of Hutchinson, died December 16, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 10, 1948, in Hutchinson, to Edward L. and Coriene L. (Baird) Furman.

Gailen graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1967. He worked at TECH in their recycling program. Gailen was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by: sister-in-law, Jacqueline Furman of Gilbert, AZ, and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family members.

Gailen was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson.
