Gaines Wilbur Eidson's Obituary
STERLING - Gaines Wilbur Eidson, 33, died Feb. 10, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Feb. 7, 1975, in Nickerson, the son of Orval and Maxine Eldridge Eidson. He graduated from Nickerson High School in 1993 and attended Vo-Tech school at Hutchinson Community College. He was a farmhand for Bob Mizell.
On May 30, 1998, he married Kandee Sue Ellis in Dighton. She survives.
Others survivors include: two daughters, Tarra and Skylar Eidson, of the home; parents, Orval and Maxine Eidson, Nickerson; a brother, Orval Eidson Jr. and wife, Renee, Sterling; two sisters, Teresa Smith and husband, Justin, Bridgeport, and Mona Koch and husband, Aaron, Salina.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Thelma Eldridge and Orlanda and Clola Eidson; and an uncle, PFC. James W. Eldridge.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nickerson United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Ron Lowry and Robert Taverner presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m., and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson.
Memorials may be sent to the Tarra and Skylar Eidson Education Fund, People's State Bank, Nickerson, or the Sterling Eagles 4-H Club, in care of the mortuary.
