Gary Bott, 56, died Dec. 17, 2005, at his home, Hutchinson.

He was born May 3, 1949, in Hutchinson, the son of Fred and Rosemary Elliston Bott. He graduated in 1967 from Hutchinson High School, and in 1972 received his degree in Business Administration from Emporia State University. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was employed by Farmland Industries Steel Production Plant in customer service before becoming the business administrator for the Dental Center, later becoming the business administrator for Dr. Trimmel Orthodontics in 1999.

He belonged to Mid States Car Club and Die Cast Collectors Club.

On Feb. 9, 1974, he married Kay Kruger. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Luke and wife, Laura, Wichita; his mother, Rosemary Hall; his father-in-law, Bob Kruger, Hutchinson; an aunt, LaVerne Paine, Wichita; and a sister-in-law, Carole Sperling, Salina.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Cathy; and an uncle, Rodney Paine.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson with Pastor Ray E. Kempel presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A private entombment will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Mausoluem, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be sent to the A.L.S. Association Ken Worthington Chapter or Hospice Care of Kansas, both in care of the funeral home.
