Obituary

Gary Lynn Brown, 68, of Hutchinson, died February 12, 2025, at his home. He was born February 11, 1957, in Hutchinson, to Glenn E. and Betty J. (Main) Brown.

Gary attended Hutchinson schools. He was a multi-talented businessman who enjoyed the challenge of various types of businesses, from brick-mason to homebuilder to interior design to sales to entertainment promotion to restaurateur. Gary owned and operated Santa Fe 21, Finnegan's, and Jillian's, most notably. He also was a car enthusiast. Gary was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by: daughter, Paige Ruffalo and husband Justin of Los Angeles, CA; son, Devin Storm and wife Lauren of Hutchinson; grandsons, Dominic Ruffalo and Erik Storm; and several extended family members.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark Brown.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at Elliott Chapel. The service will be livestreamed and the link to view it below will be active beginning at 10:15 a.m. the day of the service.

Private family burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.

Public viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary.
