Gary Dee Jacobs, 82, passed away March 26, 2022, at Hutchinson Health and Rehab.  He was born January 1, 1940, in Lyons, to Melville and Juanita (Clark) Jacobs.

Gary was a 1957 graduate of Hutchinson High School.  He worked in the lab at Eaton Corporation, retiring with over 40 years of service.  Gary was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.

He enjoyed gardening and building koi ponds.  Gary had a real love for his animals and wildlife.

On September 1, 1963, he married Pamela Anne Wernet, in Hutchinson.  They shared over 58 years of marriage.

Gary is survived by: his wife, Pam Jacobs of Hutchinson; children, Marc (Barbara) Jacobs of Valley Center, and Heather (Ian) Malcolm of Bailey, CO; grandchildren, Ian Bertolacci, Mourin Malcolm, and Samara Malcolm; siblings, Kay Clark (Jan) Jacobs of Hutchinson, Wallace 'Jake' (Theresa) Jacobs of Wichita, and Gaye Stach of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private graveside service will be Friday, April 1, 2022, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Larry Brock officiating.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
