Gary Lane, 77, died July 14, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born December 23, 1944, in Wichita, to Phillip and Ruth (Evans) Martin.

Gary graduated high school and worked various jobs, including detailing cars.  He enjoyed lifting weights and speed walking.  Gary was of the Muslim faith, studying the Koran and teaching others about his faith.

Gary is survived by:  daughter, Marzella Ann Lane; siblings; Jerry (Jerome) Lane, Sr., Veronica Spriggs, Carol Haynes, Roger Haynes, Pat Johnson, Michael Haynes, Denise Burris, Wanda Haynes, Barry Haynes, and Larry Haynes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; a brother, Nathanael Lane; and a sister, Sharon Haynes.

Cremation will take place.  At this time, there will be no service.  Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson is in charge of arrangements.
