Gary O. McCue, 73, died November 13, 2025, in Hutchinson. He was born on September 15, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Robert Owen and Charlotte Rose (Riggs) McCue.

Gary graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1970. He was a lifelong carpenter, retiring from Wiens Construction in 2016. As a child, Gary was a faithful altar boy for many years.

In 1984, he married Priscilla Page, they later divorced.

Gary is survived by: sister, Kelle (Jim) Stewart; brother, Deron (Debbie) McCue, both of Hutchinson; stepchildren, Melissa Neilson and Joe Page; six step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and faithful companion, Blackie.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Sue Wagler.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. Friends may sign his book Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the YMCA, Dillon Nature Center, or Hutchinson Community Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
